PTSC CGGV is looking for an Onboard QHSE Advisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• The HSE Advisor is responsible for the safe crew operations by implementing and maintaining approved health, safety and environmental protections systems and programs.
• The HSE Advisor oversees compliance with all applicable HSE regulations and OGP and IAGC regulations.
• Based on scheduled rotation onboard seismic vessel, the HSE Advisor acts as a liaison amongst the HSE department, the crew management and employees.
• Assists crew management in the implementation of safety requirements, including statutory requirements, company policies and procedures, client requirements in liaison with the Safety Department, and industry best practices.
• Ensures compliance with the hazardous materials disclosure reporting requirements by updating facility procedures and documentation.
• Implements all company safety initiatives and introduces this to the crew.
• Conduct benefits enrolment orientation for new and active personnel.
• Conducts risk assessments for all areas of work in coordination with the Party Manager and regularly checks that necessary safety precautions are followed.
• Works with the crews to improve safety standards and practices by participating in daily safety meetings, inspections, HSE audits, and accident investigations, organizing onboard crew training.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Superior computer and presentations skills.
• Organizes the Safety Committee Meeting

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Superior communication skills both verbal and written in English.
• HSE training certificate (OSHA, IOSH, NEBOSH, Investigation report …).
• Knowledge of OGP and IAGC guidelines.
• Three years of related HSE experience. Seismic experience is preferred.
• Equal time off and equal time worked rotations (5 weeks on / 5 weeks off)
