Contract Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Contract Specialist assists the Sales and Marketing Manager in accomplishing the responsibilities of the Sales and Marketing Department, especially in related contractual matters.
• This position is responsible for preparing/ reviewing and/ or negotiating contracts with Clients, Subcontractors and suppliers with aims to Company’s best benefit;
• The Contract Specialist will coordinate with Vessel Managers/ and shall report to Sales and Marketing Manager.
• The Contract Specialist’s main duty is to examine Instruction To Bid (ITB) from Clients and prepare bid exceptions in coordination with functional departments; and to negotiate the contract terms and conditions with Clients, Subcontractors and suppliers with an aim to achieve Company’s best benefit.
• To consult with local and/or oversea legal expert when required;
• To inform functional departments the key terms of the signed contract; to support functional departments, during the contract execution, regarding the rights, obligations and liabilities of parties involved in the contract;
• To ensure that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements in accordance with Law and Company’s Charter.
• To file the contract scientifically and securely;
• To do the contract summary for purpose of reporting, and planning as required by managements;

JOB REQUIREMENT

• 3 years of experience working as related contractual positions.
• Experience working in the field of oil and gas, tendering/bidding will be advanced.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• A good team player with a positive attitude.
