Person to report 

• OIM/Deputy OIM of Thien Ung platform.
• Production Sup. / Foreman, Senior Mechanical Engineer of Thien Ung Platform.

Delegate 

• When the Mechanical engineer is absent and cannot operate daily activities, the Mechanical engineer will delegate partial or entire work to other Mechanical engineers.
• The delegation must be implemented in the appearance of documents and approved in advance by the directly authorized superiors.

Obligation – Rights Details

• Operating, maintenance and repairing mechanical equipment with safety procedure (Oil crude Pumps, air compressor, cranes, valves …)
• Managing, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment (Pumps, air compressor, cranes, valves …)
• Developing preventive & periodic maintenance plans of mechanical equipment.
• Conducting risk analysis and organization of work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Preparing orders for mechanical spare parts
• The inspecting quality of new mechanical equipment and performance of the installation.
• Setting up working plan and organizing operation for the mechanical team.
• Developing instruction and procedure for Operating and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Executing daily/monthly report if required.

Other tasks 

• Tasks are applied once incurring or tasks are given as per request from OIM / Deputy OIM of Thien Ung platform.

Internal relations 

• Senior Mechanical Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer/ Mechanical Technician, OIM / Deputy OIM, all other disciplines of Thien Ung platform and other sections / divisions / departments in Vietsovpetro J.V.

External relations 

• The Corporation, Clients, third party, vendor and other company which relates to jobs in charge

Standards of performance 

• Standards of performance should be complied with the performance Appraisal procedure of Vietsovpetro or implemented as per the request of Vietsopvetro Oil & Gas Production Enterprise (OGPE)’s Director Board or Investors.

What You Are Good At?

Education level 

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from a Vietnamese or International university. Major in Oil & Gas Engineering is highly desired.

Qualification 

• Mechanical engineer

Working experience

• At least 03 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry as a Mechanical engineer. Priority for persons who have experience in operation of mechanical equipment (pump, compressor, crane, diesel engine…), process systems.
• Being familiar with instrument fitting standard, piping standard, valves testing standard.

Foreign language 

• Fluent in Russian (more advantage), English (Level B (at least), Intermediate (about Toeic 500))

Computer skills 

• Master in Microsoft Office (such as Word, Excel), emails and the internet.
• Skill in AutoCAD, other specialize software (such as PV Elite, Etank, Pressure vessel calculation…) shall be referred.

Training course 

• Priority for persons who have experience with:
• Rotating equipment such as turbines, pumps, compressors, generators, and motors.
• Valve principle operation and standard.
• Process philosophy.
• Hydraulic system.

Other requirement 

• Intelligent, hard and want to work at the company for a long time, enthusiasm.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Good organization, management skill / leadership, decision making.
• Ability to work both as a team and independently and work under high pressure.
• Has basic knowledge about International standards relevant to Mechanical and Oil & Gas industry such as ISO, API, ASME.
