Senior Well Intervention Engineer

ROLE:

• To plan, coordinate and supervise execution of well intervention and logging activities (non-rig assisted or rig assisted) including wellhead servicing, slickline operation, coiled tubing operation, work-over operation, etc… in safe and effective manner and to minimize well downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall in charge of all well intervention/logging activities, i.e. pressure survey, gas-lift valve change-out, slick-line, e-line, CTU, acidizing, water shut-off, etc.…
• Develop annual execution plan and budget for well intervention/logging
• Detail planning for all well intervention/logging activities, develop scope of work , programs and working procedure. Take part in Technical evaluation team, support contracting for intervention/logging packages
• Coordinate with related parties and contractors in preparation for well intervention/logging activities
• Supervise well intervention activities at site to ensure the work is carried out in safe and effective manner
• Coordinate with Offshore and relevant disciplines for operating and troubleshooting of wellhead and completion system
• Coordinate with Subsurface department in planning well intervention activities
• Coordinate with Drilling department for preparation of new wells and other related matters
• Coordinate with Offshore and other disciplines to ensure well integrity
• Work with Vendor and other Operator to study, evaluate and apply new technology

Qualifications & Work Experience Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Drilling or Petroleum Engineering. Other technical disciplines may be considered depending on experience.
• Minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas industry in similar position or well completion, well surveillance capacity.
• Good knowledge and skills in sub-surface engineering (Reservoir Management, Field Development Planning and Processes).
• Experience with offshore operations for completion work (semi and/or jack-up).
• Good understanding of production operations.

Soft Skills

• Effective oral and written English language.
• Good PC skills required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
